In Islam, I know that the Koran says don't eat pigs but why does Allah not want us to eat pigs?

Question

Do pigs have souls? Is Allah a god for pigs as well? Do pigs have other rights? Are there pig farms in the middle east? Does anyone there grow pigs? Are there any pigs there at all? What do they do with pigs? Curious.

In Biblical and Qur'anic times, refrigeration did not exist, and pig muscles were infested with trichina worms. Eating pork was a risk of contracting trichinosis. Also, pigs are dirty animals because they eat their own excrement. They eat pretty much anything, really.

Pigs do not have souls, and yes, Allah is the God of pigs. Allah created pigs, He is the God of all Creation.

No, the MidEast does not have pig farms. Most people in the MidEast are Muslims, so pig farms are useless.

You questions is ridiculous - are you suggesting that everything that has a soul or God is God of (which is all creation) should be eaten ? Even an animal as dirty as a pig?
Why dont you eat dogs and monkeys or rats and mice as some people do? Dont they have souls ? Isnt God the God of them too?

I'd recommend you dont eat pig- in your case it would be cannibalism.I dont think there are pig farms in the middle east so you'll have to book yourself a hotel.

Since no any Muslim eat pig meat, why would they have a pig farm? Most people have that much common sense. If there were any pigs British must have eaten all of them when they ruled Middle East. Now there are none. We don't find pigs in Muslim countries.

It is not only Quran but Torah and Bible also Prohobited for eating pig meat. Jews also do not eat pork. It is command of God and not of any Prophet of God. Bible also had command not to eat it but your Pope may have ordered to take it out of Bible to please pig eating Christians of Europe.
May St. Paul allowed European Pagans to continue eating pig meat in zeal to convert all of them. He allowed consumption of alcohol also even though Torah has prohibition against drinking alcohols also.

Why God doesn't want humans to eat pig meant? Because pig's meat is bad for health. Human body can not disintegrate the pig fat. So it deposits in heart arteries as is. May be that is why heart disease and cancer is more common in western people than in Muslim countries.

Pig females do mating with any male pig including sons and grandsons and they eat their own trash. Those who eat pig meat a lot are found to have very little shame in having sex with any one they can find. It is assumption off course without any scientific proof that may be the lack of shame and immorality amongsts pig eating people comes from the consumption of pig meat.

Pig is a filthy animals and eats its own filth. I wonder how people can eat meat of such an animal. All western doctors also believe pork is bad for health.

Allah is the God of all creatures,including pigs
and he forbids eating pigs because they are filthy,they eat dirt,they are the only males that allows other males to intercourse with his female,his body contains worms...i can go on and on but we knwo that Allah never forbids sth unless it's harmful to us
and the forbidden is very little compared to the allowed
he allowed aaaaall things to eat except pigs
he allowed aaaall things to drink except wine

and yes there are pigs in the middle east but not all countries
they are most in the countries where there are christians but as they are minorities pigs are rasied in private farms and they are not sold in public just as a respect for muslims' feelings....

this actually stems from ancient biblical times and has little to do with Islam. the oldest religion on the face of the planet is Judaism. and Islam and Christianity both stem from Judaism. during the early bible times, certain animals were forbidden from being eaten. specifically pigs because they were filthy animals. hope this helps

there are 2 answers
one is the impurity of pigs and the flesh

the 2nd option is that pork flesh has to be cooked a certain way to be unclean. if not it can cause more illness than not.

however there was a vision in the bible where Jesus says to Peter, EAT, i have made all things CLEAN.

THat's based on the Old Testament...yes, Islam used the Old Testament just as CHristans do. Christians have just decided not to follow that rule is all. The jews and Muslims don't have a problem with it...just Christians for some reason...read your Bible.
