I'm of Hispanic decent and as such have moderately dark skin. I also have Melasma on my face...cheeks to be precise. Is there anything that really works to get rid of this affliction?

If your melasma is the result of pregnancy, it may resolve on its own after you deliver. Likewise, if it is due to birth control pills, it may resolve after you stop taking them.

If you just have melasma, then your best bet is to see a dermatologist. There is nothing you can buy over the counter that will help but a dermatologist can treat it. He will determine the best treatment based on your skin type and characteristics. Also, as a side note, keep your face protected from the sun which can not only cause melasma but can also aggravate it.

While it took little lower than two months for me to particularly see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of alternative epidermis problems I had such as eczema had fully cleared! It was utterly potent... Do away with acne permanently?
