Weigh yourself on a scale you know is accurate. Like the DR office. Weigh yourself at home and see how it compares.

I make sure the marker is at zero before I hop on the scale.
And, when I go for a regular check-up at the doctor's office I usually get weighed so when I get home I weigh myself again and set the scale to what the doctor's office scale said. Usually it's the same.

Peoples weight fluctuates during the day from 3-5 lbs so be sure to weigh yourself infrequently, but at the same time of the morning or evening that you did the first time.
