I'm not sure I understand your question. George Bailey was a good person who happened to be Christian. He did good things because they were the right thing to do, not because God told him to. And, if you think about it, God, by way of Clarence, showed him that the world would have been worse without him, not that god would have made things OK even if George hadn't existed. Shouldn't that make you put your faith i your fellow man, knowing that God is willing to let us suffer, but man will come through for us?

Wait, there would be 'Rampid fornicators'??
I have no idea what that is but count me in!
No more over-zealous, 'shove my religion down your throat' door to door knockers! Weed and psychedelics would be legal! No more righteous, gun-blaring Republican ******* with a religious method of brainwashing the people to put God on their side! Man. . . . . . .(Drifts off into dreamy land)
Don't tease me like this.

You're going to have to explain the reference. We're not all Americans here.
But if you're saying that democracy, homosexuality, fornication, taxing the rich, illegal aliens and ganja is bad, then I'll have to disagree with you there.

i don't think everyone one be democrat, there is other things behind being a republican (or there should be) that isn't religion based. I think people will get to do more of what they like to do, and life wouldn't be so boring.
A country without Christianity doesn't mean that everyone is going to rape people and quit their jobs.

I don't and never have related my religion or lack thereof to to a politcal party. I would welcome a set of laws that wasn't enforcing a moral position, then maybe we would have rapists being charged with "theft of service" when raping a prositute (definitely a moral judgment there).

I'd see it more as a place where truly moral people respect each other and help one another out without judging.
