Don't you know that monkeys come from God and Darwin believes now? Why would you rely on logic when faith suffices? How is it you think you're so smart when you think that uncertainty dominates the universe at the quantum level? Don't you know that Jesus is the ultimate hard drive? HE SAVES!

I'm not sure whether I should take that seriously or whether I can just say "drink" and go to bed...

so many profound questions in the evening...

Wow. You must have taken the blue pill this morning, huh?

First of all, this is the "Religion and Spirituality" section. I have no God and by definition I am Atheist. However, I am spiritual, so I belong here. This isn't just the Religion section, so get off your high horse.

Secondly, just because we don't share your beliefs doesn't mean we don't have love! I have a fiance of four years that I would do anything for, and good friends that I would die for. Love is love-- it is inside you and it does not come from your religion or belief system. I have my spirits, but they didn't give me the ability to love.

You are way off, stop ranting and please go away. It's great that you have faith in what you believe, but that doesn't mean that you hav a right to preach to me or any of us. Look at the TRUE Christians around you that are showing love toward us and not hate. Look at the people that are accepting and loving...maybe it is you that does not have love. Maybe you'll learn something.

1. We come to R&S because we do belive in love as much as we do our rights.
2. God does not exist. Darwin was a very smart person who observed that certain qualities have been selected by nature through time to keep us alive.
3. We belive logic because it is LOGIC and faith, yes I admire it, but still, I want to be an atheist.
4. No one knows everything, not even your 'God'
5. The 'Ultimante hard drive', never heard it put like that...Well, when you put it that way...
6. JESUS SUCKS!

Where did you get the idea that atheists don't believe in love? What a silly comment. Atheists love just like any other human being.

Faith only suffices for those who disregard logic. Logic is what runs our lives, contributes to every decision, every choice. We are beings who are able to reason and use logic to live our lives.

The only difference between you and me is you believe in a lot of fairytales that rules your life. I reject the fairytales.

Are you taking some form of hallucinogen?

What do monkeys have to do with anything?

Darwin never repented on his death bed -- that's a myth.

Faith might suffice, but logic takes you above and beyond what is simply sufficient.

Don't believe in love? This assertion is poppycock!

When an atheist does a nice thing you can KNOW it's because they care.

On the other hand, when a Christian does a nice thing it might be that they're afraid of going to hell.

Just goes to show you don't know anything about science or atheists. You paraphrase things you don't understand to make yourself feel better. Even when you are wrong. And I am a Christian, so you know.

Tough choices...

Thing is, SOMEONE has to do the important stuff while the masses are drunk on faith. Some of us are just martyrs for responsibility, I guess.

I don't believe in God. Love is quite another thing-- I've got both experience and evidence of that.

No, no no dear.
Atheists do not believe in God. Nowhere in the definition of atheism does it say they don't believe in love.
