you are not an awful person! your a teen! It is sad that you only talk to them when your fighting. It is all part of being 14 unfortunately. I used to hug my daughter and not let go first! try that with your mom! all the knitting and baking and church stuff is just them trying to give you culture, talent, and morals. you should try to think of all the kids whose parents are drinking and drugging and making their kids take care of them. I know it sounds like a parent trip I am using on you but I promise it will pass. smile! your a lucky girl!!

Sounds like there is a major age gap going on. I understand, because my parents had me late in life also. When I was in high school everyone thought my parents were my GRANDPARENTS! I used to be embarrassed by them--not because there was anything wrong with them, but because we were generations apart in our outlooks. In 3 or 4 years you will be out on your own, and once you find out what it's like being an "adult" you may find you miss the good old days of being cared for by your parents.
Also keep in mind that because they are much older than you, they may not be around as long as you think. Learn to appreciate them now.

Your not an awful person its all part of growing up and everybody goes through it. Parents want whats best for their kids but sometimes dont realise that forcing things that they want on us makes matters worse. Sometimes adults forget what its like to be young. Try talking to them without arguing explaining how upset you are and hopefully resolve the situation. Good luck.

Sounds about normal. When you are 14, you have absolutely nothing in common with your parents it seems. You're trying to find your true self, experiment, take risks. When you are a parent of a 14-year-old, you are scared to death of what might happen to them. Do your best. In a few years, you will all have grown up.

yes your an awful person it will last for about two years sometime when you're sixteen you will turn into the nicest person ever for about two years then you will turn into an awful person again for about three years then you will get depressed and think of all the mistakes your parents ever made then you will realize they were just doing their best-hopefully they will still be around and you can tell them you love them or you can just try to remember all this now and say it as often as you think of it

you are lovely child. you have started visiting church at such a young age which showd that you wish to seek solace in the arms of religion. my dear religious thought at early age transfirm one to a person who takes not much interest in wordly and material pursuit. some turn extremist as you see in many countries where as some others turn introvert. you are so young and am sure beautiful too. do not take fights with your parents if you think they are doing some thing contrary to your taste, just ignore it.
.. love you young beauty.
