That looked so weird when I typed it that I had to get a link to show it is real.

The Brushtail Possum is a cat-sized creature with a bushy, tail, strong claws, a pointed snout, brown eyes, and big ears, which are naked on the inside. UGLY

Dobsonfly - ugliest bug

West Indian manatee -The head and face are wrinkled with whiskers on the snout

Ugliest is probably the Warthog!

The jabberwocky!... what was that wiki stub about potatoes? Wtf? No but seriously, aestheics are entirely subjective. Some people find cats hideous while others find them very pleasant looking. Personally, I loathe spiders, so any fruit eating spider that doesn't have any venom and is large enough to make my skin crawl is right up there in the fugly club. What about fruit-bats?

Whoa, fellow Americans.

The Platypus can harm you, and I am not kidding.

On its hindlegs are spurs containing toxins. If you are clawed by one, it's quite a painful experience and can result in death in some. (In the states, we use barb and spur interchangeably, thanks.)

I go with the naked mole rat.

Axolotyls are cute. They're a form of tiger salamander larvae which never achieve true adulthood and can reproduced. Mostly found in Mexican freshwater.

No animal is truly hideous, is it?

How about an axolotl?

Harmless, looks like a large male member with a few frail legs...

actually, platapuses are poisonous (the only mammal that is) so that's pretty harmful in my opinion. I don't know, I think Aye-Ayes are really fugly animals.

Bacteria. They're ugly, sticky globs, but there are thousands of species which are completely benign, and recycle the nitrogen in our atmosphere.
