If people, even famous evolutionists, like to become Christian on their death beds, is their fear of death...?

Some theists fear death, some do not. Some atheists fear death, some do not. It's really more of a personal outlook than a theist/atheist thing.

I was not fearful of death before I became a christian. But knowing what I know now, then I would be scared stiff if I was not a christian.

Just because someone understands evolution doesn't mean they do not believe in god or an afterlife.
