Just your account number and credit card. I've paid my wife's bills at the bank, and we have different last names.

Yes, if the bank accepts payment for your credit card company. you will want to just to make sure they know who is paying for the account and your name is on the card just in case someone else has your account number and or card without you knowing. ID theft is a big thing, hoods get a hold of your info open an account in your name keep the account up to date and then one day they max it out and run with the money or items bought with a card in your name and you are stuck to pay the bill, the scary part is that you will not know until you apply for credit. It can takes years to get your credit rating back in good stand once some one has destroyed it
check this site out it is about ID theft and then ask your self should you show your ID to the bank teller?

The bank will not accept payment for your Chase credit card, because they are two separate entities (i.e., the bank and the credit card company).

You will have to pay your credit card by any of a number of means, the most common being by postal mail or via their website (usually printed on the back of the credit card). For the internet option, you'll need a bank account which allows money to be transferred via the internet (many banks have such an option, now).

Sorry, this isn't really an answer, but how else do you pay off your credit card bill? I mean, even before you get credit card, you need like least checking account, which give you access to check book and debit card. So yeah, debit cards and checks are all from your checking account. Anyways, since both credit card and debit card is from same company, it should be lot easier for you. For Wamu bank, I just go to bank and pay off with wamu debit card. You just go to bank receptionist, fill out transaction paper with checking account information, and slide in my debit card to finalize the transaction.

I wouldn't think you would, if you know the account number. You could call Chase to confirm.
