Nostradamus predicted that the 3rd world war would be the end of civilization so far some of his known predictions have been correct. but its impossible to know anything by what a person has said or even A book because there is know way of actually knowing whats going to happen before it happens.
look at Y2K its the same thing it was said to be the end of the world when it didnt happen they changed the date then almost 8 years later nothing happend. There have been many D-Day predictions but none so far have come true.. oviously
so i say i dont know because you cant know.

Haha I like the first response.
Um, no I don't. However it is kind of scary how the Aztecs were more accurate that we could ever be with time. And it just so happens that's when they chose for it to stop. Maybe it's the beginning of a new golden era? They never said it's the end of the world but they did say it begins a new, entirely different era.
Something to think about.

All these end-of-the-world predictions that involve specific dates and times make no sense. Dates are just human calculations; why would the planet do or not do something based on a human calculation? It's a ridiculous concept, proven by the fact that these predictions never come true.

honestly the world will end in 1 second.....oops were still here......know one can prove that the world will end at any certain time...so i don't believe the world will end in 2012 cus ill only be 20 lol....;p

Only God knows when it will end and anyone who tells you other wise is lying! I think the end may be soon given all that is happening is in the book of rev. but to have a time and date...no one knows.

zero? ok...and how many times have prophets prophesized it would end? hundreds? ok. i'm not the best at math....but
0 divided by a few hundred is.....zero! i give it zero chance of being true. well, i guess on any given day a meteor might destroy us all. chance of that happening on any day is probably .0000000000000000000001%. so, i'll give that day the same probability.

I think it might. look at this website. The Mayans thought it would and also alot of scientists say several natural disasters will happen that year.
