Hello,

Very smart in covering their a sses. If I were a doctor and misdiagnosed a patient with some disease or anomaly I would be more than happy to say it was divine intervention that made it disappear... much better than facing a malpractice suit!

Cheers,

I think they are simply defending themselves for the fact that they gave too pessimistic a prediction, or at least a prediction that turned out to be too pessimistic. Actually, that might not be a bad thing... doctors in Europe are usually extremely cautious to make negative predictions at all, in fear of them not coming true.

a doctor who was a true believer would not offer treatment (because sickness is God's will).

any doctor who prescribes antibiotics, any civil engineer who installs a clean water system, any abbatoir inspector who reports unhygienic practices, is simply thwarting the will of Our Lord.

they are tools of Satan, all of them.

I consider them alternative medicine doctors. Yes, they use real medicine, but religion is considered a psychological affect and so by saying that, I believe them to be alternative MD's.

I call that a doc someone who got his head on straight.

How is it that you can go to mechanic and not say a word and he'll find out what is wrong with your car, but go to a doc and he has to ask you what is wrong with you?

I call them people who came to a conclusion that I don't agree with. That's all.
