No! No! No! A car that the air bags don't work on HAS been in an accident and then not properly repaired. The car isn't safe and there's no telling what else is wrong that he ISN'T telling you about. Besides a 2003 is now 5 years old. Divide 120,000 miles by 5 and you find that the car has been driven an average of 24,000 miles a year. That is higher than average, the average being about 15,000 per year. Go to http://www.nadaguides.com/home. to look up what the average price of the car would be. Even if the car is in the average price range I'd be real hesitant about the condition of it.

No you shouldnt! I collect Mustangs and currently own 9.
The 2003 is the first yearfor that body style and are a dime a dozen.
The mileage is high and the car needs bodywork, not to mention the airbags will probablly cost you 5-$600.
I am currently looking at 2004 convertibles, V8 loaded with half the miles for the same price and no dents.
Please,please,please go to www.autotrader.com
youll thank me later!

Step away from this car! Mustangs are not known for their longevity and there is a serious problem if the airbags are "bad". And don't think a carfax report will help. They are useless unless the party in the accident reported it to the DMV which most don't.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.

Even with the high milage and no airbags, in only fair condition (whitch would include minor dents in the exterior) Kelly Blue Book says that car is worth about $5800 dollars. I personally wouldn't pay that much for it. $3000 cash sounds like a good deal. I bet if you showed up with cash in hand he would knock off the other $500

It is not road legal without operable airbags. It was also in an accident (the reason the airbags are no good). Walk away. Definitely not worth buying.

Get a vehicle history report. If the car's not been in an accident it may be worth $3500. I would get a loan through someone else before i would pay $1000 in interest!

Way too many miles! And if the airbags are no good, it won't pass safety inspection. This is a dog, pure and simple. Let it pee on someone else's leg, not yours.
