I don't think the gov't is fabricating the unease. I think a bunch of the idiots on here and out there are. Maybe gov't education programs could fix it?

And, ignorant people, look at the Christians between 500 and 1000 years ago. Islam is bloody and violent? Check out the Inquisition, the Crusades, etc. Christianity is just as bad. The Bible is full of admonitions to kill idolators in the Old Testament, and even in the New Testament isn't rosy and tolerant either.

It's the culture that needs fixing, not the religion.

Can I just say I completely agree with you. My boyfriend is a Muslim & him & all his mates are some of the nicest peole I have met.
As for stopping the unease fabricated by the government, I dont think we really can, guess its just down to us to show people that not everyone is out to persecute them & that some of us have our own minds & dont stereotype whole groups of people just because of a small minority.
Every religion has it's good & bad people, and it's about time people stopped judging other people before they know the truth about them. x

Since it is Muslims that are out to get us it is natural for many of us to feel uneasy around any of them. I don't know about you, but when I see a muslim I fear for my life in some way or another (especially on a plane). Sadly, a few radical zealots have ruined their reputation as a whole.

I understand what you are saying however I know for a fact that in the Muslim Bible it refers to them killing the infidel, infidel is anyone who doesn't share their faith. So maybe that's why some people don't like them. They deserve a fair go just like everyone else but this may be why some people are a bit wary of them! Who knows????!!!!!
