They are GREAT as long as you have drywall and you do not put them in where there is a stud.
It's the easiest device I've ever used for hanging. They do hold a lot of weight also.
Be sure however, they will support the item you're hanging by applying some extra downward pressure on the item before you let it go.

They work all right- you do need a lot of pressure to get it into the wall though. They are a bit expensive for what they are.. It's worth a try though... Good luck

Consumer Reports rates them as not too good. Also Good Housekeeping thought they weren't too great either. You know the old saying, "if it seems to be too good to be true, it probably it probably is". Don't bet your good stuff on it.

Yes, we bought them because it says they work great if you have plaster walls. They dont, but if you have drywall they work fine.

I do not like them.
I hung two large paintings up in my bedroom, and both of them fell down.
