In Revelation we see 666 as the mark of the beast; this is Symbolism for mankind.
Mankind is of a selfish nature and 666, the beast, satan, the devil and so on are symbolic marks of mankinds "inner beast", the Ego. The ego tells mankind many lies about himself and the absolute symbolism within the bible is a spiritual one directed at mankinds nature.
One may ask why does the ego lie and how so? The ego is part of man, it has over-evolved in this physical realm and mankind has learned to listen to what it tells them; the ego is about "how" mankind elects to experience and percieve things; mankind has learned to perceive themselves as "powerfull" physicalm beings whom rule a planet. Mankind has become so grounded in this Lie, it has forgotten it's true Origin of the Spirit and clings to the physical world it percieves as "the only existence it has known"
777 is the mark of perfection; Gods mark. It symbolizes God is perfect.
The true number is 7; symbolically it is 777 .

I would interpert 777 to mean "perfect, perfect, perfect"
