i believe in them very much, there are good ones and there are bad ones, typically when there is a good one around there is a bad one lurking nearby keeping it in line.
and i love ghosts hunters - i just wish they could tell teh sci fi producers to piss off and do things more the way they want and less the way some overpaid executive thinks will make more money.

Well my weird social studies teacher explained that ghosts don't really exist because they are actually spirits. The word ghost has been made into a term for halloween and scaring uses. The word Holy Spirit was once called Holy Ghost but this was changed because kids probably got scared of the name I guess. But yes, I believe in ghosts if you mean spirits. And I think that Ghost Hunters show is a waste of time. If they were showing it on Halloween then it's probably just a set-up to make money and freak some people out.

I've never watched Ghost Hunters-on purpose. The house we lived in had it's own ghost and I avoid anything to do with them now. There is a site about the ghosts at one of the hospitals here in Pasadena and it confirmed my experiences while working there. There's just been way too many ghosts in my life over the years and I really wish I had never gotten to experience them.

those tv shows are set up and false. they make it seem completely real but they are really just fooling the viewer into what they have before them is true "evidence"
however, i have heard a huge number of real life ghost stories that can't be explained. what i view is proof is when MORE THAN ONE person sees the same "ghost". if ghosts are figments...then how can multiple people see the same thing at the same time?
i dont believe in afterlife or god or hell...but yet i want to believe in ghosts because of all the stories i've heard. but it doesnt make any sense
i dont know what to believe!

Ghost Hunters was created for publicity, not to convince others of ghosts. Personally, I don't quite know what to believe. I do like to believe that people go to Heaven after they die, as this is the way God intended it. However, there's a lot of proof out there that ghosts do exist, so I'm stumped. :o)
XOXO,

I'm 52 years old, and for most of those years I didn't believe in ghosts--until I saw one. About 5 years ago I was with a close friend in a wooded area, at night, and a healthy young man approached us and stated he was the king of hell. My friend and I scoffed until he vanished right in front of us. There's something going on...

Read the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis.
"We wrestle not with flesh and blood but against, persons with out bodies- the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of Darkness who rule this world: and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world." Ephesians 6: 12
Thats what the good book says. So case closed.

Some of it can be bogus and some truth can be seen.
Since the occult deals with error and darkness, I think I would respect and recognize the reality and activity of Satan and his hosts. That is why as a Christian, we are told to test the spirits to see if they are of God. We are talking spiritual realm here that has avenues for demonic powers to influence and invade the life of those who do not know God.

needs scientific explanation.

I definately believe that they exist. I can feel their presence sometimes. I've actually seen a ghost before when I was about 6 years old. There was a man in his mid-thirties standing next to my father in a red letterman jacket in the middle of summer. We had no air conditioning so it wasn't even cold. I asked who he was and while it was 85 degrees in the house, my breath was all foggy like it gets outside during winter when I asked who he was.
