I congratulate your Theological expertise! Great Question Christians/Muslims ask questions while not looking for facts is resultant of two factions where: a.) Both religions and many followers look for reasons to hate one another if dogma differs too much yet are so similar (the Q'run borrows from both the old and new testament and adds additional prophecy dating back one half less years than The Biblical New Testament - Making the Christians feel superior - While the Peschetta (Eastern Orthodox) is the same age - It has had less revisions and translations and is truer to form for Christians - BOTH Christians and Muslims TEACH PEACE - yet are Dogma War-mongers both historically as well as theologically - thus the debate... b.) They ask - let's assume NOT to debate but to concur...based on the violent conflict we in the US and the Middle East are ensconced. They desire to learn the others ideas so a better understanding can be reached if not by Governments - by people. People who are losing their sons and daughters at an alarming rate in numerous 'wars' that could escalate and NUKE the very seat of all three belief systems/ Jewish, Christians, Muslims.

I did not see it, but I am sad this happened. For pre-christian times I would consider horus to be the most similar, a proto-type even, or a preparatory stage. I definately see a continuing evolution from horus into judaism and eventually christianity and islam.
I can see how the post can be construed as dangerous to them since it was a hard step for humanity to realise that the sun is not God and that there may be something even greater.
So I guess the ones removing it may be afraid the world is going to go back to sun worship. I guess they will try to ban tanning salons next. (lol)

HEY - I just noticed. Jesus has 5 letters, and so does Horus. They both end in "us."
Jiminy Crickets I've cracked the code. Jesus and Horus are actually the same person - THEY ARE US, which makes us - them.
And if you take the US off what does that leave? Jeez - we're all Hors!!
Religions are surely going to crumble after this revelation. Thanks for the catalyst - great question. What a mind.

Where's a temple built to "Horus?" Does that *really* compare to Jesus? There are MANY parallels between you, and my great grandfather doesn't mean you're the same person.
I'm curious where you received your education? Do you have a M Div, or a M Th.? Do you even have a BS in History?
Or do you just have a PhD in know-it-all?
Your opinion isn't "truth," nor is information you've gleaned out of context considered "facts."
In your own way, you're just as ignorant as the people who think the Bible is "without error."

I really could care less about what anybody has to say about me or about my religion. What you may call facts, may only be opinions to me. Myth and legends? if that's what you think..lol. everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't know why your question got deleted, I've had a few get deleted just because i asked Christians questions but i didn't blame it on anybody because i don't care about what other people think about my religion. i will keep posting my questions because this is not a debate forum. You come here to ask questions and people give answers based off of what they think or what they know. Who ever deleted your question, needs to grow up..period.
Be blessed :)

Not me. I personally find questions of that nature boring, pedestrian, and poorly researched derivatives of fluffy pop-religion books like "Sacred Heart of Egypt."
But pretty mild on the offense-o-meter. I'd never report it.

I don't know. Your opinion will never be so offensive that I would censure you with a violation.
Whoever did it is very sensitive.

No. Christians have no reason to be 'afraid' of any questions or remarks made. You just 'saying' something, doesn't make it 'truth'. So get over yourelf.
