I don't get angry because someone believes something different - or more accurately believes in something more than what is observable, whereas I stick with reality, but the retards on here are really starting to get on my nerves.

I HATE stupid people.

Think I'm being unreasonable people? Look at this!

I don't.

I'll listen to them (if they'll listen to me)
and we can talk about our different beliefs,
pointing out flaws and explaining them if we can.

but when someone disrespects my believes and calls me names for it or push the idea of me having to face "their" god with the consequences, then I don't care to discuss it further.

if we can share ideas constructively, then there is a possibility that I might actually see where I might have gone wrong in my own beliefs.

Thats how and why I dropped Christianity and turn Agnostic.

Christians seem too close minded and judgmental.

It can sometimes be because you are not as firmly grounded in your beliefs as you would like to think you are. It can also be because people nowadays use such futile arguments (Logic! What do they teach them in these schools?) to support their belief, or lack of it. Maybe you have to part company with the idea that you have to "defend" your beliefs. Just living it is a hard enough task in itself.

LOL, I don't get angry unless someone asks a question intended to insult (like the ones about God's bowel movements). There is no need to ask idiotic questions that are intended to sow discord.

I do not. I believe in free will. I am thankful for God's grace on me, so I try to have some extra grace on people who are the stretch. No, I do not expect everyone to have the same belief system as I have. : )

because flawed people have not built enough character and cannot accept a difference other than their lifestyle. Its nice to be high on your style but why do people force an unaffordable lifestyle on people. And for todays fun go to google groups and type in kidsforurspring. Kids is dissin bet.

Conformity breeds anger.

The conformist is angry first at himself for being unable to achieve the independence he yearns for; and second, at his parents, teachers, and all the other authority figures who loom over him and make him miserable.

But he can't express his anger at his mother or his boss or his president, because that's just too dangerous, possibly in physical terms and certainly in psychological terms.

The sight -- and sometimes the mere thought -- of a nonconformist is therefore a very real and present threat. "How dare you refuse to share my misery?" That sort of thing.

I'm not fond of psychology -- it reminds me rather too sharply of sewers -- but I understand that much, at least.

I hate to admit it, but as a human being, I always feel a little frustrated when people disagree with me. But I try to be open to ideas that conflict with mine, because I know that I've been wrong and changed my mind in the past.

I think what really makes me angry is not that people disagree with me, but that they insist that I should agree with them.

I have to admit, I find it pretty funny to imagine someone coming to this section, reading some of the questions, and saying to themselves, "Hey?!? There are people in here who don't have a religion! And some are Muslims and Spiritualists and Hindus!! What the heck?!!" That they're so genuinely surprised to find that not every person in this section agrees with them, in my opinion, is pretty funny.

I only get angry when someone tries to force their beliefs onto me and attempt to tell me that I am wrong in mine.

The only time I actually get discernibly upset, is when their beliefs infringe on my rights. Such as who I am allowed to marry or what I am or am not allowed to do with my body. As long as they keep their religious rules out of my face, I don't care what they believe in.
