It is not unusual for a whole female cat to have an upset tummy when she is in estrus (heat). Yes, I agree that you should take her in to see the vet and tell him/her what is going on, but why wouldn't you also want to have her spayed? There is a lot of research that indicates that female cats experience physical pain while in estrus, and there are all sorts of problems that she could develop from having been kept whole so long, many of which can cause her to be sick to her tummy. Google "Pyometra in cat" to learn about just one if you doubt ~

It could be your cat is overstuffing herself when she eats. That could be what's making her throw up. If the food looks freshly eaten and there's nothing else unusual in the vomit, chances are that's what she's doing. You mentioned having a dog and didn't say how long you have had it. Sometimes if you introduce a new animal in the house, the cat will stuff itself so it gets more of the food before the other animal can eat it. Is the dog trying to eat the cat's food? If not, then I would suggest putting out less cat food until the problem clears up. Usually, it goes away on its own.

Awww, she sounds like she's a bit sick. Take her to the vet, and I say this because it's happening everyday. I'll come home occasionally to a pile of throw up, maybe once ever two months, but I think it's something my kitty ate as I've caught him eating some things off the carpet he isn't supposed to be eating.

Save your money, get her spayed, get her examined, and change her food to something you don't buy at Walmart, like a good quality food. Spaying is not that expensive, and check with your local shelter to see if they have a low-cost program.

My cat did the same thing and I switched her food to a hairball control formula and she stopped doing it. I would have her checked out at the vet though, in case she is sick.
