I have tried several diff. recipes and they all seem to stick to the bottom of my springform pan. I follow the recipes to the letter. If it says butter bottom, I butter the bottom. Can anyone help me with this. I love to make homemade cheesecakes and would like to perfect this part of it.

butter the bottom of the springform, and then put a piece of PARCHEMENT paper on the bottom. cut off the edges , and then put your crust and cheesecake in like you would normally.

Try a non-stick pan. If your pan is non-stick and you put it in the dishwasher, the non-stick coating will be ruined. Dishwasher soap breaks down the coating.
If you don't want to get a new pan try parchment paper in the bottom.

You can either pam the baking pan or you can but a baking tape that you wrap around the cheese cake. It like a plastic roll that can stubstain the heat so you can bake your cheese cake with the tape on.
