The question is 'if you have a very few and financially sound options open to you' is joining the military a good choice?

The answer is always YES.

Yes.
You get free ration of food. All items of need, comfort and even luxury, right from the manufacturers, with much discounted rates, and best quality.

Free travel, accommodation, Leave and Pensionery benefits.
You get bet medical service and care in Military.
Hence by any benefit in life, it is the best choice to get into Military.

However, I tell you don't feel that because of less available options you got entered in to this service.

Be grateful for the opportunity given to you to safe guard your country. This surrender and submission of doing anything to your country is utmost rather than that Military service is beneficial.

It takes care of you, but you take care of the country's interests. As long as we remember this it is a good, better and best choice, even if we have better financial support and many options open.

Depends. The ideal applicant to the military is someone who is easily qualified and confident enough for a rewarding civilian job, but wants to join the military instead for that particular lifestyle.

But otherwise, the full-time military presents an environment where you're almost always guaranteed to be fed, clothed, housed, taken care of and payed (albeit not much in almost all military forces of the world). There's always the chance you'll be ordered to do something you may not want to do or agree with at any time. If you don't mind all that, then maybe it's worth considering.

The military is a great choice.. Who else will pay you when your not at work plus you get more than just a two week vacation.

I got out of the military and trust and belive I am going back employers arent always as considerate to the personel needs you may have. Where as the military will not only understand but if you have a great leader he or she will make sure your taken care of.

The military does not turn there back on their own.

Oh Im not a recruiter but I would look into it plus I got a job straight out of the Army there is no way I would have ever gotten this job or thought to apply for it...

Enjoy life with the team.....

It is. It's also a question of attitude: you join because you like the options given to you, and the good career you can have, and not because you couldn't make it on the outside. It must be a positive choice, not something like you're going to jail or whatever

you do no longer savor the comparable rights as somebody who's a civilian & whilst particular issues are offered for you i could under no circumstances make the declare your existence is shield. You existence is something yet shield once you connect the armed forces.

What could possibly be more bleak then going to war?

I'd say tough it out, everyone goes through rough patches financially. And I mean really, really rough patches that appear to have no light at the end, but everything works itself out eventually. Hell, I lived out of my car for six months during one winter several years back, now I own a nice condo. Still living paycheck to paycheck and not making as much as I'd like, but we all survive.

It's an exceptionally good career choice. Very admirable too not everyone gets into the military so it's an honour to serve your country.

Depending on your state, you can also get up to 100% tuition for joining the Army National Guard. If you're in PA, I can give you some information about them. Im a recruiting assistant. Just give me an email asking what you're wanting to know :)

Joining the service is always a good choice for qualified applicants. Even better if you already have some college. I'm not even a recruiter, just prior service, but go for it.
