There are a number of inductive (ie, using logic) proofs that disprove the existence of God.

1) The Problem of Evil:
if God is omnipotent, onmiscient, and onmibenevolent, why does suffering exist? Being omniscient, He would know of it, being omnipotent, He could easily create a world without it, and being omnibenevolent (all-loving), he'd not cause so much pain for no reason. (This precludes also the "mysterious ways" theodicy. Why would He have a master plan that includes suffering? He could easily think of a better way.)

The Free Will Fallacy
1) Salvation depends on free will - and evil exists because men freely choose evil.
2) However, God is omniscient (all-knowing). He already knows what we're going to do! How is that fair? How could we have free will if God already knows our destiny? He already knows if we're damned or not! An unfair test!

The Problem of Omniscience
1) If God is all powerful, can he make a rock so big he himself can't lift it? If the answer is either yes or no, then he is NOT omnipotent! He either can't create the rock or isn't strong enough to lift it! (This is really an argument vs the concept of omniscience.)

So there you go, kiddo, 3 separate proofs disproving God's existence. There's no proof in the other direction - that's why there's faith. See, if you could PROVE his existence, faith would be unnecessary, and isn't that the whole point??

There is physical proof of a God that exists or existed. That proof is us. Now look at it this way: We are here, alive and breathing. Some type of life source had to of created our life force. Whether God is a energy in space or some other being, he does exist. People like like to say it was the big bang that created everything. But how about this: What if the BIG bang was God? Light matter and dark matter colliding, can cause the creation of everything. But it goes beyond our comprehension. Life can not come from something that doesn't consist of life. If there was no life, then there would be no life. Our body is made up of energy and that is what God is made up of. That is how we are in his image. That could be how he is with everyone at all time. Once we die, our soul (energy) can not die. It must either go into another life (Reincarnation) or back to the main source. Energy must remain moving because dead objects do not contain energy.

You know, it's all personal choice. You need to take the evidence for and against god....people will either decide to believe or not believe....what those who don't believe in god choose should not be a problem of yours. If you need a god in your life then by all means believe in him, but for those of us who don't, let it go.I could get "pretty frikin mad" at being told that there is a god and that I'm headed to hell for not believing, but I rarely do until it's over and over...if atheist views upset you, don't read them. Life is to short to be constantly judging people and getting mad over trivial little things.....do what you have to, to get by and lead a good and happy life...there's no proof one way or the other, personal choice....hence the reason you must have faith to believe in god.

Why does it make you mad that others to not believe in what you believe?
Everyone should be free to believe as they wish. The world would be so much better off that way. I'm in the US, and our country was founded on this belief.
If you are strong in your beliefs, than others not agreeing with you will not make a difference, right? It won't lessen it, nor disprove it. You go on believing what you do, and let others believe as they do. That way, everyone is happy.

No one can prove there is a God, no one can prove there isn't a God. This fact allows people to choose what faith to believe in, if any. You can't force religion upon people. It doesn't work to do that.
Peace!

You can't give proof that something doesn't exist, only that it does. Give me proof that asking this question more than once ISN'T annoying.

Guess what, it is.

Give me proof God does exist, and I'll believe you. And I'm NOT talking about the Bible.

Alot of people believe that he does, a sizeable chunk of the world's population, in fact.

The fact of the matter is that proof is irrelevant in such discussions. Some people will believe and others won't. It's just different strokes for different folks. It should not matter to you whether anyone else believes or not. Focus on your own faith. I don't think you get bonus points for proselytizing.

Didn't I already tell you that the Burden of Proof is on the Affirmant, since one cannot prove a negative?

The Creator is the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Prove me wrong!
