No need for more bashing for an answer. I am really looking for the motivation here. Seems people lash out at Catholics, but not at other religions that aren't "christian" from their point of view. How do people justify or call themselves Christians when they do this, or worse, don't even go to the church of their bible thumping?

I never bash Catholics, but I do have a problem with the way the church officials handled the molestation scandal. From the top down, it was dealt with in a very un- christian like manner. Payoffs and cover-ups. No, I disagree. These priests should all have received prison time.

Hello,

Because it is politically correct to do so and you do not face the same repercussions as you do for bashing blacks, Jews or Muslims. Many people cannot let the day go by without some good rabble rousing as well.

By the way, nobody has ever come back from the dead - truly dead to say what lies on the other side and what is the true religion if any. Neither has Christ appeared to the world again nor to me as an individual, even in a dream to give me an idea on how I stand with respect to eternity or what is the right religion. LOL, wouldn't we all be surprised to find out if Islam was the Truth or that reincarnation really works.

Cheers,

I was born and raised a Catholic (including 6 years in the seminary). The Catholic church is the biggest organized church in the world. Those that are smaller can easily take shots at the bigger competition. They also bring a lot of this on with the child abuse cover up over the last 50 year. The pope insisting that they are the only real Christian church. The terrible lethargy in the church and its laws.
But they are no different than any other church that proclaims how they are the only path to heaven. They all need to read the bible when Jesus did not condemn the Jews but condemned the leaders of the Jews and their laws. The laws became more important than people around them. We are still there with everyone worrying about the laws of their church that the people that live next door.

There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church-which is, of course, quite a different thing. These millions can hardly be blamed for hating Catholics because Catholics “adore statues;” because they “put the Blessed Mother on the same level with God;” because they “say indulgence is a permission to commit sin;” because the Pope “is a Fascist;” because the Church “is the defender of Capitalism.” If the Church taught or believed any one of these things, it should be hated, but the fact is that the Church does not believe nor teach any one of them. It follows then that the hatred of the millions is directed against error and not against truth. As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do

The claims of the Roman Church are extremely provocative to other Christians - when they are told that the Roman Church is the only true church whose members are the only true Christians. That's bound to produce a severe reaction from Protestants - and this will continue indefinitely.

because of church lies.
only salvation through the church.
more people need salvation from the church then need the church for salvation.

The Masters have a Master in heaven. what this could mean reading the word heaven closely...?
GOD=
G+O+D=
7+15+4=
26=
2+6=
8=
H

thus God=H

so read the peices within the word heaven(or roots of the word) and heaven shows:

heaven=
God e a \v/ /eri (sealed together)
so if the \v/=IV I sealed together, it equals
IIII I sealed together.
so
\v/ /eri (sealed together)=
IIII I /eri (sealed together)
ie a /eri (seald together) like IIII I.

thus i can be no other then the God of Heaven.
further proofs of God's identity on My 360 blog:

so is their really any incentive for God of Heaven to set up His kingdom on earth. Or do existing rulers have that all locked up? personally i like the country i live in, so not really interested in changing it too much, except legally through voting proceedures, of course.

so does worldly words proove Israel is not the kingdom of Heaven like the movie stated?

unless of course, my part-german roots means we could take it over? not that i would want the dry arid land.

It's hard for people even us "christians" to waver form our own passionate beliefs even if we don't agree with Catholics the bashing should stop it is ridiculous to think that this is the way Christ would want us to behave.

It is WRONG to lash out at, bash, or judge people for their beliefs. After all, we are all individuals with the freedom to choose what to believe in, and which Prophet to follow.

But it is NOT WRONG TO QUESTION the [organized] Church --or RELIGION-- that teaches certain beliefs, doctrines, and rituals that are deemed to be FALSEHOODS, man-made fabrications, and contravene the original message of the Prophet.

Peace be with you.

I don't think the Catholics are getting treated any different than anyone else on R/S. We're all taking hits on here, and that is to be expected. Ask questions, answer questions, that's what it's all about.

They're always jealous of the biggest and richest.

Not to mention the eldest, and the ones who actually defined the Bible.

And of course for Matthew 16:18.
