For the teething you can wet a washcloth and put it in the freezer, then give it to her to chew on when it is frozen. The cold will help numb her gums and the "bumpy" feel of the washcloth will make her gums feel better also. As for the ears, my son used to pull on his all the time. I always thought he had ear infections, but was told it was not and infection unless there is a fever to go along with it. If she does not have a fever it is most likely either itching, stuffiness in the ears, or normal curiosity. A low-grade fever is also normal eith teething, but a temp of 101 or higher is indication of an infection.

Is her name HOPE? lol... If not sorry... There was someone on my pregnancy board (I have a 7 month old son) with the same user name "LittleMomma"...

Hello Liz, if this is you...

Pulling on her ears can mean an ear infection too... they have the same symptoms a lot of the time... I would alternate the motrin and tylenol for pain and give orajel as needed... My son would SCREAM though until those little white finally came in...

Best of luck to you.

The only time my kid's ever pulled at their ears is when they had an infection. Never with teething. She may have one. It's always better to get her checked out. :)

The ear pulling might be an ear infection. Take her to the Dr.
For teething give her popsicles. Worked great for my kids.
Hope this helps.

for teething, you can use baby orajel, however, if shes pulling at her ears, its almost always an ear infection, if she acts uncomfortable when shes doing it. it could also be that shes discovering her ears, too. I really suggest that you take her to your doc. Thats not something to play around with. glad to help

if she's pulling her ears she probably has an ear ache. you can put baby orjel on her gums and tylenol if she's really in pain and i know when my daughter was teething she liked to put a cold wash cloth in her mouth.
