32 bit processors only allow for 4 GBs of memory maximum.
You can have 5 GBs in stalled, but your processor will not be able to access the extra 1 GB
It has to do with a 32 bit processor only being able to have 2^32 addressable locations.
2^32 = 4 GB

you can do files that are larger than 4gb on 32 and 64bit operating systems, its only on a fat partition that you cant.

use an NTFS file system
