Does anyone here drink diet coke just cause you think it tastes better than regular?

I started on Diet Coke when I found out I was diabetic.

After switching I now love Diet Coke (Caffiene free)

On several occassions at different fast food places I have been able to tell when they served me regular Coke by mistake (regular Coke is a lot sweeter)

Yup, I think diet coke tastes better than regular. This is because coke is way too sweet for me to drink a whole can. The thing is, one doesnt even taste like the other so i dont know what the company was thinking when they said you couldnt tell the difference!

My guess is, if you gave it time, the diet coke would actually test better than regular coke once you got used to it. I have always been a hard core soda fan so I've bounced around a lot. I'll be a lot of people will answer yes, remember, diet coke out sells regular coke nation wide.

My parents only ever drank diet sodas when I was growing up so I didn't even have regular soda until I was a teenager. To me, regular tastes funny and I won't touch it. So yes, I drink diet soda for the taste :)

Diet coke tastes soapy to me. I like Coke but because I'm FAT I drink Diet Pepsi instead, if they don't have Diet Pepsi then I drink Coke instead (not diet).

i don't drink soda

however, i had a roommate that insisted she prefered the taste of diet coke to regular coke.

i told her that the aspartame in it would render her mentally disabled in a few years ;)

No. I think it tastes watery. And sure, it has no calories (or so they say) but the acid can burn a hole in your stomach! =]
