Hot wings all the way, or jalapeño poppers.

Other than that, there's a "spice chicken gumbo" soup that comes in a can. It's one of those Campbell's chunky varieties. Not too spicy, but just spicy enough to get your sinuses flowing.

I would recommend some spicy Thai food. It always seems to do the trick for me.

Good luck!

Thai Tom Yam soup is brilliant when you have a head cold. It clears you right out but be warned - it'll make your nose run. This is a decent recipe

I know this sounds nuts, but I love it, and it works. Call your local Chinese restaurant and order your favorite soup. I like wonton, but eggdrop would be fine as well. When you get it end it piping hot squeeze in a pouch of Chinese mustard. I love it and it really clears up the nasal passages.

My cure-all for sinuses is hot and sour soup. I use the one on epicurious.com. But I just use chicken broth and skip the mushrooms. And I add some extra hot sesame oil. It will really empty sinuses, I swear by it!

wasbi paste with sushi is great or a good spicy cajun dish. Plus you can do chili which is great and hearty.

My family loves this Moraccan Peanut and Tomato Soup. Add extra spice if you like.

I don't know but it happens to me also. Maybe the spice tickles the nose hairs making liquid come out.
