The impact on his sons life.... he probably felt resentment towards the schizophrenia and his parents divorce due too it. I'm thinking that as he got older he learned to have more compassion through his fathers schizophrenia.

Well, John Nash is still alive today, isn't he? or is he not?
why not google him?

but, one thing I believe all this time, Mr.Nash would forever be accompanied by his three imaginary friends. The difference is that now, he has full control of ignoring those characters in his brain.
But, I am quite sure, that he has lose sense of privacy. It may affect the way he share life with his son (and his wife too, for that matter). Maybe there would be more squarell in the house; but in the end, his son may not despise his father's scizo.

His son will be someone who is really tolerating but may have some problems in privacy issue, and may find it dificult to build relationship with outside the house.

Do you know that scizo may be (the certainty of which is still under debate) genetically inherited?
His son may develop similar symptoms in the end. But, who knows?

well in the movie we see that the wife got tired of having to deal with John. And she feared for the baby to be left alone with him. It seemed like she was taking care of 2 babies.
