I would just watch out for signs of distress just in case he was able to catch the mouse because it had been poisoned.
That would probably be more of an issue if he had eaten the mouse but otherwise he should be fine.

Most likely not. Rabies isn't as common as everyone wants to believe, also the chances of a rabid mouse are slim. However you should worry if you have mouse poison down, your neighbors have mouse poison down or your dog starts showing any abnormal behaviors.

No you dont need to worry. Rabies shots though mandated to be done everywhere in a years time actually last 5 years. And from what I unserstand its usually racoons and things of that nature that carry rabies.

After he killed the mouse did he eat it? If he did not there is nothing to worry about. If he did eat it I would be worried about any kind of rat poisoning the mouse may have ingested. I hope everything turns out OK.

probably not, but phone your vet to see if they recommend giving your dog a rabies booster shot.
When my dog got a squirrel and a bat, they did recommend it. I don't think they will for a mouse, though.

My dog has done this before, he likes moles too!
If your dog is current on his shots you have nothing to worry about.
Take Care.

I wouldn't worry unless he starts running from the cat and begs for cheese.
