microsft word-how can i write next to a picture?

i cant get the text next to the picture, it just goes to the top or bottom, its driving me crazy !

Right click on the image and select properties, and choose text wrap

You have to change the properties for the picture.

Rightclick and choose Format, then Layout and choose there.

then type
