Sad to say, and I offer my apologies in advance, that the first word that comes into my mind is "terrorist" even though that is extremely prejudiced and unfair to most Muslims. Most Muslims, like most Christians, are fine, law-abiding people who want the best for themselves and for all of us. It is too bad that a very vocal, active, and evil segment of that population have chosen to promote their political and religious views through murder and fear, and have caused such prejudice against their own people.
Having said that, we would do well to remember that historically the exact same thing could be said for Christians - for example, when the Crusades spread murder and terror against Muslims and other throughout much of the known world in the middle ages, and when the Church terrorized its own people during the Spanish Inquisition and the Witch Trials.

It reminds me of a wild desert dwelling people who attacked my country, almost massacring all my people. It reminds me of men and women who died defending my country against them. It brings fear to my heart. Muslim is the reason that I had to leave my beloved country and live in a foreign country.
If you feel like giving me a thumb down go a head and do it, but your thumb down will not change the history, it will not make things right, it will not bring my country's people back to life, and it certainly will not change my mind about Muslims.
