*chuckles* ....oh you're so wise.....
by the way the big bang theory, cambrian explosion and abiogenesis are "things" you read in a book too....
.I mean do you have SOLID, FAIL-PROOF EVIDENCE of them?. Not a printed page.

You can't prove the non-existence of something, so it's a bit odd to demand disproof of your non-proof. I don;t have the time to read those other threads but I hope no Christian claims there is scientific proof of God. We generally are happy to concede it is a matter of faith and deals in largely irrational and direct subjective experiences that are then shared among ourselves.
It just seems like you are wanting to debate facts and excluding the whole part of human experience that deals in feelings, intuitions, dreams, love, and so on. Well, yes, if you limit yourself only to rationality you can knock down the Christian strawman and flex those muscles and pat yourself on the back, but you've only proven that if humans were inhuman then we'd be wrong. Which is a waste of your time. And everyone else's, perhaps.

The proof is all around you. All of these things could not have just happened, but your a little too pig-headed to realize that. I have to deal with an atheist kid sitting next to me everyday in Biology and all he does is make fun of my faith. He questions me and I don't always have the answers, but no matter what he says I'm gonna stand strong in my beliefs and I'm gonna do my best to answer any questions that come my way so if you have so many questions for christians, go ahead, ask them!
Here's a story I really like for all of those "proof" questions:
The Atheist and the Quaker
One day an atheist man began to question a quaker man about his faith. The atheist asked the quaker,
"Have you ever seen God?"
The quaker replied, "No."
The atheist asked,
Have you ever touched God?"
The quaker replied,
"No."
The atheist said,
"Then how can one believe there is a God?"
The quaker asked,
"Have you ever seen your brain?"
The atheist replied,
"No."
The quaker asked,
"Have you ever touched your brain?"
The atheist replied,
"No."
The quaker asked,
"Then how can one believe that one has a brain?"

Actually God as the creator and operator of the universe and of everything with a beginning can be proven to exist when we ground ourselves on facts and logic.
What I have noticed time and again is that atheists do not want to receive the correct information on the concepts of God in the Christian faith.
You ask them, what is your information of the concepts of God in the Christian faith, and see how they will answer you.
Here is the concept of God in the Christian faith, namely, that God in the Christian faith is first and foremost the creator and operator of the universe and of everything with a beginning.
The difficulty with exchange of ideas with atheists is that they are the ones always dodging the real issue, namely, that God exists first and foremost as the creator and operator of the universe and of everything with a beginning.
Atheists who might know that concept of God will insist that the universe has always existed, and that it is not allowed to talk about what came before the beginning of the universe, because there was no time before the beginning of the universe (science tells us that the universe has a beginning some 13.8 billion years ago, and time and space started to exist at that point of the beginning of the universe), wherefore man cannot talk about a status where time is not existing, etc., etc., etc.
Okay, then granting though not conceding that the universe has always existed, then man can still see that in the universe there are things which are changing: the fact of change in the universe requires the existence of an operator in charge of the change going on in the universe, otherwise we cannot be certain of the nose in our face not falling off uncertainly: so God is still needed as the operator of the universe in charge of the change the universe goes through continuously.
Now, it is a fact that scientists know only some 4% of the universe. they don't know some 96% of the universe; once scientists know the whole 100% of the universe, then they will see in their mind the existence of God as the creator and operator of the universe and of everything with a beginning -- that is thinking grounded on facts and logic.
But atheists do not think on facts and logic, they prefer to trivialize the concepts of God, like calling God a flying spaghetti monster, etc., etc., etc., and feel so confident that they have proven God does not exist because a flying spaghetti etc., etc., etc. do not exist.
That is not thinking on facts and logic, that is dodging the issue of God by trivializing the concepts of God.
Atheists will insist that the concept of God as the creator and operator of the universe and of everything with a beginning is not a valid concept, then they have to prove the concept as propounded here is an invalid concept, but please dear atheists don't go about ridiculing God and feeling so confident that you have proven to yourselves that God does not exist.

I am a Christian, and I am not a dodger fan. Did the land of Sodom have freewill, yes they did, I think you miss understand the meaning of freewill. God does give you freewill to choose whether to serve him or not. The right to judge your decision is Gods because he is our creator. The potter has power over the clay. Now you can get mad at God for that if you want to but it will do you no Good. He created the earth and we live by his laws. They are for our best. If we follow his plan for our lifes we will have the best life on this earth we can possibly have and also we will get to live in a paradise someday where there is no pain or sorrow or tears. You can 't have both ways. You can choose to ignore God but judgement will come, you can choose to serve him and have the best that it can be for you on this planet, the choice is yours...Proof, how about this and you have to be truthful to yourself and Jesus. When you see a Cross have you ever thought of Jesus?? When you see three Crosses on a hill does it remind you of Jesus and the two thieves?? The other two represent me and you by the way. Read Hebrews 10:16. Jesus wrote it in our hearts and minds, but you have to make that choice to serve him yourself. Judgement will be eternity in hell with the devil while at the same time there will be some who have believed and will live in a paradise forever. You can choose to serve Christ. Think about my questions. Jesus loves you and he died on a Cross for you, if you would like to be saved and accept Christ Pray this prayer believing, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Why are you so interested on our reasons..or
"proof" of God's existence? If you don't believe in God then so what!!! Seems like you've proved your point to me! I dont dodge anybody's questions. My sister is an athiest and you know what? I love her no differently and she loves me no differently. I don't see her running around here asking christians for proof of God because it doesn't matter!! She believes in what she believe and I believe in what i believe.

Sorry again "no proof for you!" We can't prove anything. It is just a feeling in us and this is not hard core proof. It is pure faith.
again feel free to believe what you want

It's probably because we feel sorry about the fact that the only meaning you find is life is to come on a board and try to bash people just because their beliefs are different then yours.

I don't dodge your questions. I just think they are childish and silly and don't want to waste my time on them. You will get your "proof" and your "payback" when you die.
