I know so many illegal Canadians working here in the U.S with blue eyes and blond hair and they get away from it..I am sure there are many of them in Oklahoma too. But they are getting away from it..

One of the biggest problems with your sides position is that you think that Americans are basing their immigration policy on race. You are wrong when you think no one would know. Your future employers would know and they will surely not jeopardy their business license for you. There can be illegal white immigrants too. If they're coming from Sweden, Germany, Britain, Ireland, etc.

Unless you had an accent, of course. Actually, that's the big thing, if you speak english like an American, and cleave to American cultural norms, no one will suspect you're an illegal, no matter what you look like - because there are plenty of natural-born American citizens of any given apearance.

i think you have a point, have not heard any of them on here complaining about say illegal Germans are french are Irish they are really just interested in Hispanics. OK the US wants to get most of the Irish and French out but there is not the big clamber about them. wonder why because they like to think they are not been racist but that is the way it looks to everyone else. i ask one thing for them. how many Mexicans have been arrested by the FBI for terrorist activity. not one to what i know. then ask themselves what are on the terror watch. the KKK the Michigan militia for one thing and the one that done the Oklahoma bombing. right now they think its Islamic terrorist that are the problem. do they not know that Mexico has the lowest amount of Muslims in the world. its a Catholic country almost totally. with a few of other religions. in fact for the size of population and all Ireland has more Muslims than Mexico and that not even by percentage but in numbers. that should really mean Irish should be watched more than Mexico if they are thinking the immigrant thing is to stop terrorists.

Yes when racists say they hate illegals...they mean the brown ones from Mexico or Guatemala. They don't mean white illegal Canadians or white illegal Russians that number in the hundreds of thousands!!! Heck they don't even mean white-skinned Mexicans.....they mean the brown ones only.

My skin is light, I have green/liight brown eyes, 5.7, foreiign born eurean, legally and yes I look american, but when I open my mouth the accent is telling something like where are you from?
so when isnt one thing is another..........

Not really. We are not so stupid as to believe that people are legal OR illegal just based on looks.
