Thirty-Year Secret Leads to Evidence of Worldwide Flood
In 1978, a couple of guys searching for fossils and arrowheads stumbled upon a treasure of bones sticking out of a creek bed near Waco, Texas. It was later discovered that what they found was a family of Columbian mammoths, along with camels, saber-toothed tigers, and a variety of animals yet to be uncovered.
For thirty years it’s been questioned what brought this variety of animals so close together in one site. Today, paleontologists suggest the herd was in the midst of disaster -- “trapped by flood waters and entombed by a mudslide.” They say the placement of the bones show that adults were trying to “lift juveniles up out of the muck when the wall around them collapsed.” Creationists call this even more evidence for God’s Word and the Flood in the days of Noah. Click here to watch the one-and-a-half minute video.
Skeptics have long scoffed at the idea of a worldwide Flood, suggesting it was merely a local one. God’s Word, however, is clear, stating that “the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.”
If the Bible is correct about a Flood which covered everything, then evidences like these should be found. This recent discovery is just more proof that Noah’s Flood exceeded his “known land,” even beyond Waco, Texas

Many of you say that a world wide flood is impossible. What do you base that on? Many Scientists believe the grand canyon was formed by a flood as that's the only way it could have formed. Why is "raining on the rocks for millions of years and us springing out of no where possible according to "science?" I've seen that show on the discovery channel and it's ridiculous! I sense a god hating spirit at work.

I have an old (1950's) book titled "The Deluge Story told in Stone. It describes many areas where bones are found in tremendous abundance, many times several species are found all broken up and piled one atop the other, indicating great catastrophe (flood). One example cited by the author was the multitudes of fish which are encased (fossilized) in soft stone that remain intact. Now, if you can imagine a fish dying on a beach somewhere..in a matter of a few hours, that fish will be nibbled on/chewed on and it is doubtful that it would lay out in the sun without deterioration/rotting. There are many instances where fish are found in their normal swimming position, along with their fins straight up (back fins/tail fins), encased in sandy stone which would indicate they died while swimming in waters contaminated with heavy silt, as would be the condition existing with turbulent waters. The same is found with much flora which is found perfectly preserved, encased in stone. Being that the plants didn't have time to rot would indicate a rapid covering by silt brought on by much water. There are also many, many instances of tree trunks that penetrate layers of strata which supposedly represent "millions of years", the explanation of which is best represented by the "idea" (fact) that there was a repeated/rapid deposite of material due to large quantities of water. There can still be debate that there remained, perhaps, small areas of land that remained uncovered by the flood, that would not make false that there was a great flood that destroyed "most" of the life upon the earth. Such a great force upon the environment would certainly have changed weather patterns to what we see today. Prior to the flood, the weather must have been very different (beautiful?).

Mammoths and saber-tooths went extinct over 10,000 years ago, and there are many places through out the world that show evidence of flooding and other disasters - just not at the same time period.
It's interesting that this article calls the site "secret", I strongly doubt that the news of the site has been in any way suppressed.
Edit:
Fossils on mountain tops were form before the mountains were pushed up i.e. that land was once an ocean floor, then as the earth shifted it was pushed up and formed a mountain.
I'm not sure why creationists would claim this as evidence of a world wide flood.
Edit 2:
Oh yeah big secret tourist site, see link below
Updated with link showing the dig to be required reading from a 1992 book. This was not a secret.

Large areas of the earth have been under water at various times throughout the 4+ billion years of earth history. It was not the result of some heavenly flood though. It was the result of plate tectonics, seismic activity, climate change (ice ages followed by warm periods), continental drift, and several other factors. To support the notion of some massive, world wide flood event there would be a uniform sediment layer spread across the earth (which contained most if not all fossil records). There is no such a layer. I've heard many young earth proponents offer the Grand Canyon as evidence of 'rapid erosion' from the retreating Noah's Ark flood waters. What they fail to understand is that the Grand Canyon is mostly made up of granite. There is no 'rapid erosion' of granite.

If what you are referring to is the Flood of Noah, then you're mistaken. It has been proven that it was a massive (yes quite large) flood in Mesopotamia that engulfed the entire region. Ancient texts site this as being a world wide flood because their entire world, that being Mesopotamia, was flooded. As for this one case of a plethora of different species being clustered together, obviously, yes they were trying to escape a disaster, of some sort, whether it be flood, asteroid, hurricane, earthquake, what have you. But it doesn't prove a world wide flood, although it is possible there was an isolated incident of some sort. My advise is do some research in geology. When there are floods silt can be found everywhere, and if there was a world wide flood, there would be a worldwide layer of silt everywhere corresponding to the proper era. As this hasn't been found yet, we can only say that it didn't happen. Instead of grasping at straws.

This does not prove a world flood. There is no real evidence for that. There were many local floods then and now. That should be obvious. I recall flooding several times when I visited my sister in Houston, so some creationsit could find evidence of a Houston flood of 2000 or whenever and try to say there was a world flood then. Creationists only discredit themselves and their beliefs with such illogic as this. Indeed, all they have is illogic.

Those who love the truth, know the Truth, yes there was a world wide flood. However there are many people today who do not believe, just like there was in the days of Noah, they just don't want to believe, because they have no love for the Truth, so they have been blinded by Satan.

I do think that it supports the Bible. How else would bones from mammoths, camels, AND saber-toothed tigers be found in THE SAME PILE? Some people just refuse to look at the evidence, don't they? They demand evidence for creation from us Christians and then refuse to look at it; and at the same time, when we ask them for good solid unshakable evidence for evolution, they either say "because the scientists say so" (which is NOT evidence), or they don't even attempt to give any evidence and proceed to insult us even more. Weird, isn't it? And THEY tell US that WE'RE hypocrites for telling people what we believe.
Here's some more evidence of a world-wide flood, though based on answers from non-believers, I highly doubt any non-Christian will accept it as such. You know all these hilly areas we have everywhere around the world? From an aerial view, they look like gigantic land ripples. And this came from a SCIENTIFIC video I HAD TO watch back in Biology.
Beetso, are you a deist? Visit deist.com, if you haven't already. I believe you'll find you have a lot in common with the people who created that site.
*EDIT*
More on that part where evolutionists never give us Christians any real evidence for their theory yet proceed to demand evidence for creation from us, refuse to actually take a close look at what we do give them, and then insult us some more. For those of you who don't believe me on that and want to know how I came up with that, I know from personal experience. I've gotten into several creation vs. evolution e-mail wars in which the evolutionist insulted me like crazy (it was VERY hard to restrain myself from doing the same) and never gave me any real evidence for evolution, though I'd ask for it at least 5 times, and in each case, they refused to take a closer look at the evidence I gave them for creation. One of those people happens to be one of my closest friends...and I wouldn't say stuff like this about my friends unless it really did happen. And believe you me, it did!

Not much.
During the Ice Age the spring thaws at the foot of glaciers produced immensely swollen rivers, enormous flash floods, and destruction. It was not uncommon for many animals to be caught unaware and they were carried down stream and deposited often many species all together. You can see an example of this yourself after heavy storms when debris is collected and deposited in areas along the banks of rivers where land or obstructions allow it to collect. During the Ice Age and as the world warmed back up this would be on a much bigger scale.

If you would read about how the earth was formed, when it was formed and how it reached what we see today, you'd have your answers.
The planet earth has undergone many horrendous events in it's 4 million plus years. From hot volcanoes and seas of fire to cold, frozen lifeless with no atmosphere.
There have been many occasions in earths history where it has been covered by water, methane and liquid gases. That's what geologists research.
Take your nose out of the bible once in a while an read a little about physical science.

flash floods do that, not world wide floods slowly rising.
Have you even seen or been in a flood? The water doesn't just quickly disappear. Then again if you are making up an absurd story you may as well throw that in.

Cite the sources. No I do not think that what you have said above is evidence of a world wide flood. Floods happen all over the world and that shows no proof it happened all at once.
