Actually Chumley, my, very insane, paranoid friend. I don't HATE Christians. My two best friends are Christians. But obviously you're a Christian, and as your bible tells you, it's OK to hate atheists, as you do. ;) That works both ways, hun.

I am not a Christian, but am a believer. I have read the Bible a number of times, but more importantly, I comprehended what I read.

I'm as Catholic as they come! But I will be honest with you - it was only last year when I did start to read it properly - the reason is I went to a Catholic school and I took the Bible for granted as it was taught everday. Some of it I retained but I never really understood it.
The New Testament - Jesus' teachings are so amazing and comforting - now I really grasp what he is saying. I can truly say that I enjoy reading the Gospel's, not every night but whenever I need help. Everything morally that I need to know is in this book.
Best wishes

Four hundred eighteen million ninety-eight thousand and twelve.
In other words, no one could possibly know this answer, BUT we know you're just trying to make a stupid point because you're an atheist and you hate Christians. But of course, hating Christians these days is okay - in fact, it's politically correct.
See, the TRUTH is that most Christians DO read their Bibles, especially if they attend a solid Christian church. In fact, the ministers usually read passages in the services and dissect them.
But don't worry, we'll pray for you.

Well, I've read it about 7 times fully-through and counting...
But point made - if a Christian isn't reading their Bible, there is definitely something wrong. And that certain would certainly hold little or no credibility in religious discussions involving Christianity.

I have. Once when younger, again when older and saved and I actually understood the Bible. If you do not read the Bible with an open heart to God and pray for understanding, I can see why so many are confused.

I had the New Testament read before I became a Christian. It took me about three years to get through the Old Testament, but I did it.
I must admit, I haven't read all of the Apocrypha, but since I'm Protestant I really think that's optional. I never did all of the optional reading in college, either.

I read the Bible almost everyday. I have not read the entire thing but one can read a passage and then go back and read the same passage and see something that you did not see before. It is awesome!
I have also read the book of mormon and parts of the quran both were dull
