If the time is right, it's a beautiful and wonderful thing...if either party has ANY reservations, the time is not right and you both are setting yourself up for major complications down the road. I know it's horribly traditional but to me sex is about the mind as well as the body and I want to be truly comfortable and happy with someone before being that intimate with anyone. I want someone who loves and respects me and I cannot understand people who sleep around.

Agree with above. When it feels right and comfortable to you then it's the right time.
I've slept with some the first night and others not for a couple of months. Each person and situation is different. (Never thought of those I slept with as "easy." After all I was doing the "sleeping" as much as they were.

You will be easy if you sleep with many guys too soon. But you can be intimate whenever you are comfortable if you plan to stay with a man for a while. I slept with my boyfriend the first night we met in person (we met online 2 months before) and we've been together a year and plan to marry.

Well I'm not a guy but i can say that when you are truely in love. I hate when parents say don't have sex untill you're married because that is not necessarily when you're in love. This is also in a way a question that can't be answered but as soon as you are ready, you know.

I don't want to sound corny, but its a "you know when" kinda thing.
If you feel completely comfortable with the guy; feel like you can talk to him about anything and have him actually listen to what you have to say; get horny when your around him (you have to be sexually attracted =/); among many other personal feelings, its usually a safe bet you can move to the next stage.
Remember, it doesn have to be sex right off the bat. There is always mutual masturbation and oral to toy around with to see if you are completely comfortable getting into bed with a guy.

Be easy and over-eager, so that the time is always right.

If you have to ask, then you are not ready to be intimate with that person. And he should always take his cue from you.

Third date as a general rule. If it does not happen by then. I'm gone. By then you know if there's anything between us.
