I believe we each have our own 'thumbs-down fairy". He/She exists fror a different purpose for each of us. My thumbs-down fairy is a fundie (or fundies). I don't even have to answer a question with anything anti-christian, but if it isn't pro-christian, I get the thumbs down. Fundies have their fairies as well, though. People seem to think that the 'thumbs' system is their own personal system for "grading' the beliefs and values of others. Brilliant conversion strategy, I must say. I'm actually considering a change in my belief system because I've gotten too many thumbs down.

convinced, I do - i'm one in all them! clarification: i'm a YA oldtimer (registered because 2006), ever once later on I come for the length of a question the position some troll has given thumbs all the way down to various of high quality solutions randomly. it is at the same time as my fairy features wide awake and urge me to grant all those solutions a thumb up...:-)

Oh, I believe, alright, I believe. The thumbs down fairy visits us when we write answers that are correct. He visits us when we write what has happened to us in our lives. He visits us because he wishes to bestow upon us the glory that is a thumbs down.
