he did sleep
Mark 4:38
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

It isn't.
The bible does speak about The Father, the God of Israel in Psalms 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Son of God clearly rested when He had the opportunity.
Matthew 8:23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him,
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Psalm 121 talks about God, not Jesus, not slumbering or sleeping:
I lift up my eyes to the hills — where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip — he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you — the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm — he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

It is not in the Bible that "Jesus" never slept. Rather it talks specifically of "Jesus" sleeping. "Jesus" refers to the human form that God had for just over 33 years. That form was subjected to all the same limitations any other human is. He also got hungry and had to eat.
However, in Psalms 121:4 it says that "God" does not sleep. This refers to him in his eternal spiritual form. As God the Father, he was awake and active even when "Jesus" was asleep.

Jesus is the God-Man, fully God and fully man. In His humanity he slept, ate, and got tired like any human, that is why He became a human so that He could identify with us in all our weaknesses but without sin.

Since sleeping and slumbering are the same thing, I would hope for the sake of basic writing practices that it's not there at all.

"They arose in the morning and rode towards Shittim." So he had to have been asleep to rise.
Heh heh, Shittim...
OH MAN, I love how that guy just mentioned zombies in relation to Jesus, claiming that he wasn't one. Listen, he died then rose from the dead, right? That's the very definition of a zombie!
