Yes I do because I believe that it is what I should do to please God and to help my church. Every time I have stopped for whatever reason something goes horribly wrong and the money gets taken from me anyway…and it’s usually more than what my tithe would have been. Coincidence…I think not!
Most people who argue against the tithe do so because they are lovers of money and talk about how the NT says to give freely....but they aren't doing that either. Jesus said he did not come to do away with the law but to fufill the law.
It is true though that if you aren't giving cheerfully you may as well keep your money.

Yes by being a member (not a regular) That means you signed on the dotted line, you tithe, Why if it weren't for the members tithing the doors of the church would have to close because their would not be enough money to pay on the mortgage, the power, heat, water and on and on! Yes! bills must be paid! A person does not have to become a member and therefore not obligated to tithe.

Yes, and I pay tithing for a couple of reasons. First, it is taught in the Bibke, first in the Old Testament. Jacob (Isreal) paid 10% of his increase in tithes, and Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek. In the New Testament Jesus teaches "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and reder unto God that which is God's" Since all that I have comes from Him, I render it back as commanded. Also, The Humanitarian aid programs in my church are an amazing way to contribute to charity. They get the funds out to places all over the world in effective ways that I could never do myself. They frequently respond to disasters before even the red cross or other prominent groups. And I consider it my Christian duty to give as much as I have to offer to those who have not. Many charities do not give 100% of your donation to those in need, but I know that my church does.

Yes. I get the benefit of feeling good that comes from giving, and I get the benefit of deducting it as a charitable contribution on my tax return.
Serioulsy, I don't go to church any more, but when I did, my family always put money in the collection plate. Like others have said, it's a principle as described in the bible and it is your choice, but a church is like any other business. Well, except for the fact that churches are exempt from taxation and paying government fees.
You wouldn't expect to go to a school and get an education without somebody paying for it, or use any other service without paying. Somebody has to pay for the property, like repairs, furnishings, utility bills, and the salaries of the minister and the staff, unless they're volunteering their services, community projects and mercy missions, if that applies to your church, and supplies that are needed for the daily or weekly administration.
The way I view it, if you attend church and are reaping the benefits of attending, like being able to worship, receive an education/enlightenment, commune and fellowship with other members, then you're actually using that church's services, as in the services that you've been provided, and should give something in return.

Yes, because it is a principle (not a command) that is laid down in the Bible.
Sorry Chris but to say it's unbiblical is silly. Tithing is found throughout the Bible. God never asked for a tenth it was offered and promised by His people. It is very true that God loves a cheerful giver and each must decide what to give but the principle of a tenth is Biblical and quite legitimate.

Tithing is unbiblical. The New Testament says to give if you want to, freely and cheerfully. And if you don't want to give, don't.

Yes I do. Because it is a principle and is a blessing in disguise. God tells you to try Him and see if He won't open up a window and pour you out a blessing you won't have room to receive.
What goes up must come down...that which a man soweth, so shall he reapeth. Sow obedience; you reap blessings.
