Every girl that knows me says im so sweet and nice, I help them out with stuff, hold doors for them those kind of things..but im afraid because i hear that nice guys finish last

I think when guys like you hit the marriage age, nice guys usually get grabbed up right away. Lots of women in their late 20's complain about never finding nice guys because they are already married & have families. Only the jerk guys are left.
When you are young, nice guys get the shaft. Girls tend to like the macho jerk boy, (but-Guys do in a way-fall for "the bad girls" too - like skanks, and guys will ignore the brainy nice girls).
The best advice is to keep your interest level low when you first meet and date a girl you like, save the gentleman routine for when you have a serious gf after you dated a few months, then she will appreciate the cards, flowers etc once you've been together for a while.
Girls get repelled by guys doing flowers, cards, romance stuff early in relationships. You are better off and get further treating her just like you would your "sister" in all honesty. Plus until you hit your early 20's most girls are so immature that they can't handle a healthy gf/bf relationship.
-Another factor is that girls are attracted to a guy that reminds them of their father in their behavior. Check out if the girl has a good or crappy father, I knew a smoking hot girl that totally hated her father, and this chick was in with messed up boyfriends constantly. Most strippers had crappy fathers, and they couldn't compute having a healthy relationship with any "nice guy." - Maybe good girls at church are the best route to go.

So your asking do girls go for guys that hold doors, help out and stuff? Another words act like a gentleman? Some girls will, some girls won't. I like someone I know who is like that :) I'd like to know where the rest of them are though ahha

we like guys to be sweet but not over the top! do the things like help and stuff so that we feel comfortable around you but not too sweet like agreeing with everything that we say (give us the odd mild insult in a messing way to get a little flirt competition going) so basically we want a mixture!!

I read a survey that said girls mostly go for "bad guys" until they have a kid. Then they look for a well employed "nice guy".

no they dont.. just be urself... changing for someone will in the end ruin u because they will find out u are not true.. u will find the right one.

sweet guys are nice but i prefer my bad boys, i got bored with my ex who was soft as s**** and forever being too nice!
