It's an awful decision that some women are faced to make. No matter what choice they make, they are going to have regrets. It's a woman's choice because it's her body, not a man's. It's not murder if it's done right away, within a few weeks of conception. It's not a sin if it's just a mass of cells and doesn't have a beating heart yet.
It's sick how many abortions are done each day though. I wish that they weren't available so easily. Maybe teens and young college kids would learn to practice safe sex more. Just my two cents.

Yes it is definitely a sin - one of the greatest sins is to murder your un-born child. The ramifications of doing this can go on for years - regrets, depression etc.
It's such a sad thing to abort an Innocent little baby - just look at a baby at 12 weeks development - the baby is fully formed.
I'm not judging anyone but I know that in doing this act it can stay with you for life.
best wishes

It's a woman's choice what she decides to do with HER body, but from the time of conception onward, what is growing inside of her is NOT her body, but a separate unique individual who has the chance to experience "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness", if only their mother allows them to live!!!
BUT, if you made a mistake in the past, and listened to others who may have had selfish reasons for you to have an abortion, you can be forgiven for mistakes of the past.

I think it's a major sin. It's like taking away the life of someone that could've been born, due to selfishness of most ppl nowadays. Too bad if it was from rape, you still have a child inside you that is totally innocent! it's like blaming the baby for being there!
In Islam, it's forbidden, except if it's harming to the mother, that is, if she's most likely gonna die if she has childbirth, thats it.
otherwise, i think it's really mean, and disgusting.

It is a sin-- it is murder. A baby is a baby after conception-- it is LIFE.
It amazes me how people in this world are so blind to that....and how easily one can abort a living human being inside of them....trying to justify it but there is no justification for it!
It is murder and it is wrong.

I think it all depends on when you believe the fetus is a person. People all have different beliefs about this.
Personally, I believe that abortion is okay--BUT it is not okay if you abort a baby *who could live outside the womb.*
As far as it being legal...there was a study done that found NO DIFFERENCE in the rate of abortions in countries where it is legal and illegal. If it's illegal, though, more women die or are horribly injured.

Exodus 21:22-23....22Â “And in case men should struggle with each other and they really hurt a pregnant woman and her children do come out but no fatal accident occurs, he is to have damages imposed upon him without fail according to what the owner of the woman may lay upon him; and he must give it through the justices. Â But if a fatal accident should occur, then you must give soul for soul,
This shows it's murder in God's eyes.

I think it is a very selfish act that too many girls use as a form of birth control. I think it should be illegal. Anyone who murders another person should have to pay the consequences. And Yes it is a sin.

Abortion is killing a growing baby. That's the bottom line.
Pro-"choice" women have such a double standard. To them, a baby is "only a clump of cells" if it's inconvenient at that time for them to have a baby. What do they do if they want it, excitedly announce "Hey, I'm pregnant with a clump of cells!"???

At one time a woman showing her ankle in public, except at the beach, was considered a sin and people were told by their priests that that particular person was going to hell because of it. Sin changes with the times and the wind.
