I understand your question but anybody who believes that Jesus is God in flesh will also believe in the trinity also..it comes hand in hand and no separating it. I believe that Jesus is God..part of the trinity..He manifests in 3 forms.. Jesus is God in the flesh. So I don't see any logic in your question.

Jesus was God, but emptied Himself of His Godliness to become a man just as we are. Because Jesus was able to live without sinning and then died for us, God raised Jesus up above every one else. This is to the glory of not Jesus but God the Father. This means that Jesus is in subjection to God still. This comes directly from Philippians 2:5-11.

I believe that Jesus is God come in the flesh according to the scriptures.
A Child is to be born as a man who will be the Mighty God.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Jehovah says that He and the coming Redeemer are eternal.
Isaiah 44:6
"Thus says YHWH, the King of Israel, And his Redeemer [Yeshua], the YHWH of hosts: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; Besides Me there is no God.'"
Again, Who is the Redeemer? Who is the Savior? YHWH.
Isaiah 49:26
"All flesh shall know That I, YHWH, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
Before He was born, Jesus identified the trinity.
Isaiah 48:16
"Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His SPIRIT Have sent ME."

While I believe Christ had within himself the divine power of God/YHWH I do NOT believe that he was in fact YHWH himself.
Jesus prayed to Adonai.
Jesus worshipped Adonai.
Jesus said to not call him good but only God is good.
God not could sin nor can he stand the presence of sin, or so it is said, so then how could he do so here on earth?
Jesus never said he was God. Many people try to take some things he says to prove it but if you really study it - it is not so.
The word was God, etc. is not saying the Word was YHWH, it was saying the word/logos/wisdom was divine.
Jesus said I am not I AM or YHWH. Someone asked Jesus a question and he said that in the following context, I am he.
Jesus used a reference about being called god/rulers but if you read the whole thing it says that terms was used for others which implies he was being misunderstood.
-- Those of you who quote from the KJV should realize that was translated according to doctrine and they were trinitarians. Also they add a verse with the trintiy that was not originally a part of the manuscript. --
Example:
1 John KJV
5:7-8
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
This was added errorneously. (dare I say intentionally)
Actual translation:
NASB
5:7-8
7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
Actually the trinity is a pagan concept that predated those who held this doctrine...
Also realize that any Jewish scripture concerning the Messiah understood him to not be YHWH himself but a human king.
The word translated as god in many old testament passages also refer to governors and judges.
Isaiah = mighty god = mighty ruler
Me and my father are one in PURPOSE. Not one in the same person.

OHHH YEAH! Definetly. No trinity, but God did come in flesh. Hear oh Isreal, the Lord our God is one Lord. Me and my Father are one. I could go on and on. :D It's awesome that God himself came in flesh, it'd be kinda selfish for him to send his son, don't you think? ( if you believed in the trinity)

Your interpretation misses the doctrine of the trinity. Jesus submits to the daddy and the holy spirit submits to the son. you furthermore mght pass over verses while Jesus claims to be the 1st and the final, and while he makes himself equivalent to God. Alpha and Omega: John 8:fifty 8, "I permit you understand the fact," Jesus replied, "beforehand Abraham became into born, i'm!" See Exodus 3:14 Equals with(ESV) God: John 10:11 -- The Jews replied him, “it is not for a competent paintings that we are going to stone you yet for blasphemy, considering the fact which you, being a guy, make your self God.” inspect the source links under for extra guidance.

I am a Christian. But have my doubts about the teachings and doctrines of the church. Jesus for my taste has been human made. Its a fantasy one that was used to shant middle Europe in the old days. So that the popes can use their influences and their powers to rule over the earth.
For me I believe there is a higher power up there. What it is I do not know for certain. I believe there is a God. But the rest of that stuff is pretty much man made . A little bit too far fecht for those who really need to believe in something.

Why is it that anyone that believes in the word of god is automatically a christian? I believe in the Lord and the word, what I don't believe in is religion and I defenitely do not put more faith in the new testament compared to the old testament. The Holy Trinity does not make any sense.
