I can't get them to work for me at all. Perhaps the ancient ones that weren't contaminated by Parker Brothers and corporate American profit, worked... but the ones I've played with haven't.

Yes, the dark side is the side that you place down on the table.
Other than that, it is a parlor game that is operated by unconscious muscle response to what you're thinking - you tend not to notice your own movements when 2 or more people use it. Wikki has a pretty good article on it, feel free to look it up.

I would plump for the latter. It's a toy, but humans, exposed as they are to the randomness and unpredictability of this universe, certain only that they will eventually die, grab for anything that promises, however feebly, to make it all a bit more comprehensible.

no it depends on how you use it. i like the Ouija board i all so like evps. if you believe its evil then it is just don't believe everything they say right away question them and don't think of the answer

I don't care what you call it, It don't have significance it is just a board, if a person however turns to satan and starts calling unclean spirits, they are going to come, if you basically tell The Lord you don't want Gods protection and invite evil in you are in for alot more than you ever wanted.

I think it is. There is Demons attached to that. It opens up your heart to ungodly things. (like demons) I would suggest not playing it.
