anything without fruit juice, sweet and sour or mixes like margaritas. those are all very high in sugar and calories. your best bet would be something like a diet soda with rum or other liquor if you want a cocktail.

however, wine is actually your best bet. ounce for ounce it has less calories than any hard liquor or beer. Beer can be close to 185 calories for normall beer, 144 for light beer. And most hard liquors are 75 calories for one ounce. wine is 100 calories for 5 ounces.

i would rather have one 5 ounce glass of a really good zinfandel than a beer or cocktail.

I'd go with clear liquors like vodka or light rum, with a non-calorie mixer. My favorite is Enviga Sparkling Green Tea with Apple Stoli (vodka). Enviga supposedly burns calories, but I really just like the taste and the bubbles. Happy Drinking!

So many manufactures have a spin on low cal or low carb drinks. Bacardi has wine type coolers as does Hard Mikes. I believe that Bacardi even has a rum that is low cal. Pair that with a diet soda or water and you've got yourself a low cal drink.

you could do something like cape cods, vodka and cranberry. the cranberry is a natural diuretic so its kinda good for you. If you don't like the tartness of the cranberry, add a little bit of pineapple juice, it makes it smoother. Or just try like a bay breeze.
