our religion, religion of islam teaches us to act justly,to be kind with others,&to be honest &many other moral values.but my mom some times says to me to be rude with maid,or to lie with my father so that he there 'll be no trial at house(dispute) &other things. but the problem is that when my house maid do sth wrong (little thing)my mom shout at her badly,i don't know why she treates maid in bad way, even she says to me to shout at her,but i really don't know what to do at that time as my religion teaches me to be kind, polite, mercy with maid at the same time it teaches us to listen to our parents,to be patience with them,to be kind...etc except we should not listen to them when they ask us to be polythiest.

What does God tell you to do?

Not your mother, not your "religion," what does God say?

Not a man, or a book, what does God tell you in your heart?

Making your own way is something everyone has to do . . .and that means not listening to your mom when she tells you to mistreat someone. Not listening to your parents when they arrange a marriage for you. Not listening to a person, when God is speaking to your heart.

God writes the rules of how to live your life on your heart -- it's difficult to listen to God, when your parents and everyone else is yelling at you. . .

. . . but listen to God.

Peace be with you.

well, since she is your mother, i dont think there is much you can do about the way she is, except talk to her and try to convince her its wrong. You, however, can do the right thing and refuse to treat your maid unjustly. ( I had a full time maid too, by the way, and i use to have conversations with her and tell her jokes..we were like friends).
I had friends who would treat their maids badly, and i would always look down to it. Every human is created equal. no one has the right to belittle anyones spirit like that. Keep up the good atittude!!

It is hard to live by all the moral values of a religion in day to day life. I am sure you mother is trying hard. All you can do is make sure you are trying hard to be good and moral yourself. I hope you are developing what skills you can, so as to be able to contribute, in a positive way to this world in the future.

u r a rare girl indeed....by & large, the best advice is to obey your parents, or obey the law of the land. GODs law says to obey your mom....but also says to be kind to others. [the law of the land also says mind yo momma]

Would you please ask youself this [perhaps in prayer]Are you seeking to obey GOD for rightousness' sake, or are you looking for ways to shift the power from your mom?

AFTER substancial thought [aka pondering], if you feel as though you are only seeking to serve your GOD, then you must teach your mom how to be in harmony with this goal. It is going to be difficult, but all things are possible with the Almight's Hand. Pray for him strongly for guidance.

Stay rare, as you are an eternal spirit & sweet girl

Your'e mum is right. Some people do need shouting! else you'll not get the work done! Shout and people will listen to you. Keep mum & you will be trampled upon. That's the way the world is.

sounds like your mom could use a little help herself. you should honestly approach her with these feelings and tell her what you think. make sure to say you want to respect her but that you also feel like you must respect your faith. chances are, if she is also a woman of faith, she will hear your struggle and either see her own fault or at the least recognize your point of view. parents are funny things... good luck :)

It does not matter what your mother says.

It does not matter what your religion says.

How do you think you should act? How would you like to be treated if you were in their place?

Islam is like that. I dont want you to dishonor your mother, but Christianity Is not like that at all. I hope God helps you through this. Your mom is trying to protect you, because she knows what is happening. God bless.
