It amazes me that a group of people say they have cornered the market on God. If you don't believe as they do you don't have God. I say God is there for anyone who seeks it. You can't keep God in a box.

This is a good question. The same people have always claimed to "own" God. Those being the "aristocracy," as they self-fashion themselves. They are the wealthy who were born into their wealth, and think they're "elected" to have it by God. Whether they call themselves specifically Popes, Bishops, Chieftans, Kings, Neoconservatives, Capitalists, Nobles, Gentry, or Robber Barons, they've always been the same.
And when it comes down to it, if these feudalists own God, I don't want to know the SOB.

No one owns Him and you are right. He is not a commodity. Yes, He is available to all who want Him in their lives and, no, he cannot be compartmentalized. However, if we don't ask, He is too much of a gentleman to push His way in.
