I was with a friend the other day who came in contact with someone who had to be hospitalized for MRSA, and my mother was in contact with a coworker who was hospitalized with it.
I got a small pimple-like thing on my chest, and then another next to it and it has a patch of lighter skin around it. It's REALLY small and pretty unnoticeable though. There is another thing that looks like a pimple next to it. It seriously could be nothing and I could just be breaking out. The thing that worries me is the patch of lighter skin around it.
I don't have any open cuts or anything, but I did get my nose pierced two weeks ago and I know that MRSA carriers have it in their noses. I'm a healthy 19 year old, I don't play sports, go to a gym, etc. I do live in a college dorm but my bathroom is only shared with 4 people, it's cleaned regularly and we all use our own products.
I know it could be and probably is nothing, but what should I look out for?

I just want to know what to look out for. If it goes away without ever developing a boil or turning into an open sore, then is it safe to say it wasn't MRSA? How long does it have to turn into an open sore? I've had this for about two days now.
