regardless of whether or not I'm religious

meaning that even if I were... I still wouldn't believe EVERYTHING in the bible.. so I still wouldn't believe in heaven or h3ll... I have plenty of questions concerning that..

even so..I think people just die..and thats the end of you..
sort of like when you're sleeping..You don't realize whats going on around you... (when you don't recall a dream) so I think it's just like that..total blackness ...only you never wake up.

When it comes to the belief of coming back as something/someone else..

Whats it to me? Chances are I won't remember anything from my past life. so why should I dedicate my entire life working and hoping on getting a "better" after life?

V Like steven said.. what about the plants & animals?
or those who've never been baptised.. we've all done wrong at some point in our lives...
I don't know much about religion...but I also don't think a priest has..or should have the right to "forgive" ...

Thats not entirely saying that I don't believe in god... it's just that I don't believe in "everything" said in the bible itself
(and what if you're pursuing the wrong religion?) I still don't get that...

I've witnessed things that were "too coincidental" that left me to believe in miracles here and there.... but I'm just gonna stick to the neutral side and wait for something to happen.

No, this is the after life.
There is just life and points of view on it.
If you do not change your point of view, you will always see life the someway.
Stay where you are and never leave and that is all you will truly know. Travel to another cultural way a being ( i.e. country)and stay awhile and when you get back, your point of view will have changed and you'll look at where you are differently because you experienced other points of view. Maybe not a big shift in point of view, but it will be different.
So it is with the so called after life.
So how does one gain a different point of view? There is a way called soul travel.
Travel in this fashion and you'll gain different points of view.
Just a suggestion.

The answer to this question perplexes and scares the hell out of me all at the same time. Death is the permenant end to what we are now. Whether we move on to an after-life or not, our bodies and minds are physical and remain here on earth. Therefore we are not the whole being we are now. So if there is an after life it's not like this life and if there is not...then what's the point?

Common sense should tell you that you were created for a higher calling than to just live 0-120 years or less. That thing in side you, keeping you alive, that spirit and soul that no one can explain, is that portion of God, His Spirit. When the body dies a physical death, that Spirit, will return to God, and your soul, will live on for eternity. The Holy Bible says, that eye has not seen, nor has it interred into the heart of man, the joys that await those that love the Lord. That means it will be more fun, than any fun ever experienced by man on the face of earth.. Man cannot imagine.

Sorry, no. I really wish I could. It would be a nice thought, but I can't get my mind around it. I would also like to believe that Santa brings toys to the world, and the Easter Bunny leaves baskets, but I can't believe that either.

What happens to that fly when you swat it? What happens to the tree when you cut it down? They just are dead. Does that idea suck? Sure does. I think that's why religion is so popular. We are smart enough to worry about are unavoidable demise, so we make something up to help us deal with it. It's just what our brain needs to be healthy.

I believe in after life! I think that you get to live in a mansion in heaven where the streets are paved with gold!

I am now living in one of my many afterlives. I leave my body at in my sleep also and come back to it. You need to meditate/pray, do mind body exercises, eat healthy, and control your over indulging. This will help you to develop your spiritual senses, so you will pick up more on the spiritual realm.

Absolutely......

It will be eternal bliss with my Lord & Savior.
Jesus said, "I go and prepare a place for you"
And, "In my Father's house are many mansions"

I can hardly wait to see what the Lord has prepared for me!
