I don't see any reason to leave Iraq, we still have troops in Germany. Things are getting better in Iraq, al qaeda is on the run and getting desperate. The iraqis are disgusted with al qaeda and fighting them. Iraq is a democracy, they have their problems, but so do we and Israel. It's getting better and better. God bless our troops!

Since most of the country is Shi'ite and much of the Iraqi government has close ties with Iran (whom are also Shi'ite). The Iraqis and Iranians will form a bond. Iran is becoming highly influential and powerful in the region.

Two oil rich Islamic nations that support terrorism is what we'll have. The threat to the US and Israel will grow larger.

Fairly simple.

The country descends further into farce with the inadequate Iraqi police and armed forces losing control. Countless riots etc etc before another crackpot takes power and replicates Saddam's regime, this time though he is serious and the liberal fools that will be inhabiting the White House and Downing Street at that time will be too weak, and scared of public opinion, to do anything which leads to regional conflict which turns nuclear and BOOM good night Vienna ( and every other place in the world).

"Human rights and liberal ideals are the most corrosive poison that mankind has ever invented for its own destruction."

Iraq is going to have to deal with internal corruption, people plotting revenge, internal terrorists such as the PKK and outside side influences such as from Iran and Saudi Arabia.
