You need Penicillin and lots of it. Go to a doctor whether you have insurance or not. Believe me when I say, "You will thank me for it!"

Uricalm is excellent. It has pyridium which relieves the pain and cranberry. You can use it for a few days and see if it clears-drink lots of water. If it returns, you may need an antibiotic-but the one you have (amoxicillin) is not for UTI. You need Bactrim, Macrodantin, Cipro or another that covers UTI. Different antibiotics only cover certain things.

there is a medication available over the counter now that will alleviate the symptoms for you, it will turn your urine orange, as your pharmacist for it, the name escapes me just now. But that infection has to be treated by a doctor with antibiotics and soon, or it can spread to your kidneys, you cannot live without your kidneys you know. While you take the otc med, drink at least two liters of water a day to limit the growth of the bacteria...but don't put off seeing doctor as soon as you possible can, or you will regret it.

Sorry - gotta suggest it. The only way it will go away is with antibiotics - and you have to go to the doctor to get them. You have no choice. It won't go away on its own, it will only get worse.
Uristat that you can get at the drug store will help the symptoms a little (it will turn your pee orange) but it won't get rid of it. Cranberry juice is useful to prevent an infection before it happens but it won't cure it. Penicillin is NOT the antibiotic of choice for most UTIs.

Take AZO Cranberry tablets and a bottle of water, they are very inexpensive and can get rid of the pain over night. You can also do this any other time you start to feel pain.

I can't think of the name of it, but they sell a medicine over the counter for UTI''s. Check at the drugstore. They should have something.
Also cranberry juice will help a bunch!

Try AZO standard pills from the local drug store. - there is a coupon on their site. I have used these several times and it has always cleared up within 24-48 hours.

go to the pharmacy and pick up uristat - you can use it for up to 3 days but it will turn your pee bright orange and it really does stop your symptoms but doesn't cure the infection so you need antibiotics from the doctor for that
